Future of multimedia

The future of multimedia is related to some indicators. There are three points that excite me, regarding to the future.
1. Miniaturization : personal digital assistant, mobile PC, wearable computers (or combined with human body)
This is a very common trend, that multimedia devices is getting smaller, but the ability become more powerful.
It is no doubt that, in the future, computers or any other multimedia devices become very small. So it is
predictable that tomorrow, someone can "wear" a computer, maybe a sunglasses that can act as a personal assistant or PDA,
a watch that can give us information about our body health, and it is become possible that in the future, computers
can be integrated with human biological body. GPS in our head, so we can get information about locations just by
think about something, and then it showed in front of our own eyes. Or handphone is replaced by our own fingers
(pingkie as mic, and thumb as speaker). Half-robots? Sounds scary but possible.

2. Merging of media, computer and communication tech in online interactive entertainment and information
It is undesputable, that the internet will become the most powerful communication media in the future.
With the new technology of cloud/grid computing (sharing resources and processes through network) we can predict
that the computer and internet will be the backbone of the human life, lets say the improvement of e-government, etc.

3. Advancing the emerging technology
Some technology will be advanced into wide appliances in public services.
Handwriting and natural language recognition in the usage of multimedia computers
more wide usage of 3d interactive holograms especially in telecommunication.
